Jason Boas
It is with great sadness that we record that our friend and partner, Jason, passed away on 12 November. Jason eventually lost a brave fight against cancer. He faced this disease as he dealt with his life, with good humour and looking for ways in which he could help others.
During his treatment, he set up a charity, 'No Surrender' to raise money for fellow cancer sufferers and raised over £50,000 during the year in which he struggled with the disease. His weekly "You Tube" blog became compulsive viewing as he was frighteningly honest about how a young man coped with this fatal disease; but he always tried to bring in the humour which characterised his life.
His parents and brother were a great support to him in his struggle and the dark days of the illness and our thoughts are with Barry, Denise, Andrew and Jo at this most difficult time.
He has touched us all in our lives, which makes his untimely death all the harder to deal with. We will miss him always and remember him for the star that he was.
